In addition to the standard curriculum, we have a high volume of elective rotations available to the resident which include (but not limited to): Allergy, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Hospice, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Informatics, Nephrology, Neurology, Nutrition, Pain Management/Rehabilitation, Pharmacy, Rheumatology, and Wound Clinic.
Qualified resident physicians may also participate in Away Rotation opportunities, including International Rotations.
Beyond our standard curriculum, we have developed a specialized "Curricular Emphasis" for the following interests:
- Rural
- Urban Ambulatory
- Urban Inpatient
- Emergency Medicine
- Clinical Research
Residents interested in pursuing the emphasis of their choice follow a recommended option of electives starting in their PGY2 year that are relevant/specific to the development of the emphasis.
